Description
1977 Catalina 27 sailboat with a clear title, located on land in the Rock Hall, Maryland area near the Chesapeake Bay. For security, the exact storage location will only be provided to serious buyers after a viewing appointment is confirmed.
The boat includes its mast, boom, mainsail, roller-furling jib and related sailing equipment. It is powered by a 30 HP Universal Atomic 4 gasoline inboard engine. The engine ran properly when the boat was last used approximately two years ago, but it has not been recently started or tested.

The boat has been stored securely on land for more than two years and has been scrubbed and cleaned. Its storage fees are paid and current. The supporting boat stands are believed to belong to the storage facility and are not included in the sale.
This is an older project boat that will need inspection, maintenance and some repairs or replacement items before launching. The engine, fuel system, electrical equipment, plumbing, rigging, sails, instruments, hull and deck should all be inspected and serviced by the buyer before use.
Some exterior photographs showing the boat in the water were taken when it was last used approximately two years ago. Current photographs are also included to show its condition and interior. Serious buyers are welcome to arrange an in-person inspection.
The boat is sold as-is and where-is. The buyer is responsible for arranging continued storage, launching, loading or transportation after purchase.
I am the owner’s granddaughter and am helping my grandparents sell the boat. I will handle most buyer communication, answer questions, share additional photographs and coordinate viewing appointments. My grandparents are the legal owners, and the clear title and required sale paperwork will be completed with them when the sale is finalized.
