How do I list my sailboat for sale?

To list your sailboat, simply click the "List Your Sailboat" button in the navigation menu and fill out the listing form with your sailboat's details, specifications, and photos. If you don't have an account yet, you'll create one during the listing process - it's all done in one simple flow. Free listings include up to 5 photos, while premium listings allow up to 50 photos.

What's the difference between free and premium listings?

Free listings include basic features with up to 5 photos and standard visibility. Premium listings ($19.95/month or $59.95 one-time) offer up to 50 photos, priority placement in search results, featured badges, enhanced visibility, and detailed analytics about your listing views.

How do I contact a seller?

Each listing has a contact form on the sailboat's detail page. Simply fill out your name, email, phone number, and message, then complete the reCAPTCHA verification to send your inquiry directly to the seller. The seller will receive your contact information and can respond to you directly.

How can I edit or delete my listing?

Sign in to your account and go to your dashboard. You'll see all your active listings with options to edit or delete each one. You can update photos, change specifications, adjust the price, or remove the listing entirely at any time.

Is it safe to share my contact information?

We take privacy seriously. Your email address is never displayed publicly - buyers contact you through our secure contact form, and you only share your email when you choose to respond. All incoming messages are filtered before being relayed to you to minimize spam and fraud. Phone numbers are only displayed if you choose to include one when creating your listing. We use reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and automated abuse. We recommend meeting potential buyers in safe, public locations and never sharing financial information through our platform.

How do I report a suspicious listing?

If you encounter a listing that seems fraudulent or suspicious, please contact our support team immediately using the contact form on this page. Include the listing URL and details about why you believe it's suspicious. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action to maintain a safe marketplace.

What payment methods do you accept?

For premium listings, we accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) through our secure payment processor. We do not handle payments for actual sailboat purchases - those transactions are arranged directly between buyers and sellers.

How long do listings stay active?

Free listings remain active for 90 days. You'll need to log in to your account and request an extension for another 90 days if you want your listing to remain active. After that, listings go into an inactive state to let potential buyers know the boat might have been sold or the seller isn't actively managing the listing. One-time premium listings stay active for 90 days, after which you'll need to request an extension - you'll keep your 'Trusted Seller' badge but the listing will show as inactive if not extended. Monthly premium subscribers don't need to worry about extensions - listings remain active as long as the subscription is current. We require periodic extensions to keep our marketplace fresh and transparent for all users. You can renew or upgrade your listing at any time from your dashboard.

Can I list multiple sailboats?

Most sailboat owners only have one boat to sell. However, if you're a broker or dealer with multiple boats, we offer special brokerage memberships that allow you to list your entire inventory. Contact us for brokerage packages tailored to professional sellers managing multiple vessels.

What areas do you cover?

We list sailboats worldwide! Our platform supports listings from any country, state, or city. Whether you're selling a boat in Miami, Sydney, Barcelona, or anywhere else, you can create a listing. Buyers can search by location to find boats near them or filter by specific regions.
