Additional Equipment

A beautiful day sailor complete with its trailer and a like-new long-shaft Mercury electric start outboard motor, or buy the boat and trailer without the motor.

This boat was commissioned in 1987 as a Capri 18 with fiberglass hull and a shoal draft keel that will get you into shallow water. The bottom has new professionally applied V 17 paint. This design produced an amazingly roomy cockpit (over 6’ long) and a spacious and beautifully upholstered cabin that comfortably accommodates two adults. The cabin provides ample storage and a fore hatch for ventilation and manipulating the jib. The main sail has the Catalina logo and has a new cover.

The boat is beamy (over 7.5 ‘) and sails well in light and heavy winds but weighs only 1500 lbs. The trailer is original equipment and needs paint but is serviceable and has two new tires and an extendable neck making it easy to launch the boat and to tow.

The motor is a 2022 model Mercury 8 (8 hp) with less than 10 hours of use with electric start and reverse without turning the motor.

The boat comes with some safety equipment (life preservers, Standard transmission emergency radio, swim ladder, etc.)

Location: Cleveland Ohio area. Boat is in the water at Metroparks 55 st marina in Cleveland
