1978 American 15 Sold

This sailboat is is a 15 foot, twin sail, adjustable keel, deep hull dinghy which has been a blast to pilot on Gun Lake for the past nine years. No problems, just time for it to have a new home. A single person can sail this boat but it is built for taking friends along for the ride, as it can fit up to six passengers and has a dry storage hold for personal items on a day trip. The steel drop-in keel and wide shape provides great stability in moderate winds. It has been garage stored so the hull is in good condition and there is an extra mainsail. Some ropes could be replaced but all are still in working order. Rudder and mast are rebuilt but both work great. There is a permanently licensed trailer rated for 700 lbs included with a new swing away trailer jack. The trailer hinges in the middle to incline the boat for easy bilge.
