Description

Vanguard Nomad is a 17' sloop billed as a jazzed up daysailer offering a stable yet swift ride and perfect for family sailing and can easily entertain two teens or adults  with thrills on a good wind.  It is a performance day sailer, fast and easy to sail. Seats are comfortable and adequate for four adults or a covey of kids. The mast can be raised and boat rigged by one person in about 20 minutes.  It has 274 sq ft of sail plan with a furred jib.  The halyard, sheets and sail controls are clean and well engineered. Nomad is equipped with a 180 sq ft asymmetrical Spinnaker that is easily deployed, handled and doused. Comes with a galvanized trailer with pull up centerboard and detachable rudder.  It has a lot of underwear storage and in-deck baskets for the spinnaker when not in use. The nomad is titled and trailer registered in Maryland.
