1989 Ron Holland Gibbs Marine 90 | Lauren L

Georgetown, MD, USA

Description

The phrase "once in a lifetime," is used far too often for it to be a reality when boats are being sold, but this really is an opportunity that will never pass you again. This 90-foot sailing yacht is an elegant custom sailing yacht built over a five-year period by one of the most successful yacht building architects in the world, Ron Holland, who joined forces with Gibbs Marine to produce this masterpiece. The strong hull and sleek lines of this yacht offer the smoothest sailing that you could wish for on a mega-yacht. She is fully loaded with a water maker, upgraded generator and engine with low hours, new navigation equipment, new fire systems, safety gear, and much more. Lauren L not only lets you experience the ocean in style but also in extraordinary comfort surrounded by large open interior spaces, furnishings, and an aesthetically pleasing interior and exterior design. You will be turning heads wherever you go in this yacht. This yacht can easily accommodate a large crowd with ample room for everyone to enjoy passages and a sail on the water.

Recent Upgrades

A survey was completed in June 2021.  The boat is currently out of the water in Georgetown Yacht Basin where it is receiving constant upgrades.  Hull was painted in October 2021, new bottom paint, new bow thruster in 2022, new zincs, and all the general maintenance has been completed.

Upgraded engine with low hours, sails, bow thruster, navigation, satellite, BBQ, AC, mattresses, batteries, engine, kitchen sink, dishwasher, rigging, battery chargers, cushions, custom enclosed Isinglass and more.

Vessel Performance

One of the many advantages of Lauren L is that her range is limited only by your imagination!  Smaller vessels are not able to take you to far away destinations with this kind of style and comfort.  The headsail is a carbon / Mylar sail.  She is designed to be sailed with minimal crew and set up with hydraulics that will simplify your sailing experience.
