The bottom paid was removed down to the fiberglass followed by 2 new barrier coats and 2 coats of ablative bottom paint.
Renovations I have completed.
-sanded bottom to the entire 28 ft. of fiberglass and then applied two barrier coats and 2 bottom paint.
-removed the 4 cylinder 16 hp gas engine that was installed in the interior of the boat and replaced it with a 15 hp outboard engine, that is extremely reliable and cuts down on gas fumes. This outboard pushes the boat quite well
-fixed the bulkheads and head sink area that were suffering from rot and replaced with new mahogany.
-replaced all of the light bulbs on the boat with LED lights including the mast head and interior lights.
-had the Sail Loft in St. Michaels go over the sails and covers. They made any needed repairs.
-reinstalled the macerator pump for the head and remounted the head.
-cleaned and repaired the cushions.
-removed the alcohol stove and replaced with a custom cutting board. The stove can be replaced.
-replaced bilge pump and have an extra pump if need be.
-cleaned and sanded all of the interior cabinets and drawers to prepare for repainting.
-replaced the marine batteries
-repaired the forward hatch and reinstalled.
-removed the old fuel tank and replaced it with a 5-gallon tank.
-addressed some leaks and have the needed seals to replace the salon windows.
-I am sure there was more that was done to the boat and will inform you later.
-The title is clear.
