Saorsa is a 1976 Irwin center cockpit, cutter rigged ketch. She has 3 large cabins: A forward cabin with a large head/with a small tub and shower, the main cabin and galley, and a large aft cabin with its own head, with a shower too. Headroom is about 6’ 4” in the main cabin!  New cushions inside & out. The galley has ample storage, a single basin sink, ac/dc refrigerator, propane stove & microwave. The forward head has foot pump operated vacuum flush with macerator and 15 gallon holding tank; The aft head is a fully electric vacuum flush with macerator and 15 gallon holding tank. An 11 gallon hot water heater feeds  all sinks and showers and a new shower sump system helps to keep the bilge clean!

Recent Garmin instruments & 18” Radar added plus a Garmin Auto pilot (w’/ remote) are all connected with NMEA 2000; A rewired 24 breaker Blue Sea Systems electrical panel with several bus bars for easy maintenance has 8 AC and 16 DC breakers. LED Lighting throughout. A Standard Horizon GSX 6000 VHF with AIS reception also has a helm remote. Lots of USB charging ports in cabins; nav bench & Helm.

I have worked tirelessly rebuilding this wonderful Cruiser/live-aboard sailboat for 5 plus years.  Complete system rebuilds include wiring; plumbing; fuel; propane; rigging; steering and  safety equipment; thru hulls; mast support etc  have all be meticulously rebuilt and installed. Saorsa is a solid and spacious old girl with too any upgrades and improvements to mention here. She has been sailed from Maine to the FL Keys and back again and performed admirably and reliably. She has many years of life left to give the right blue water enthusiasts. Original or previously replaced equipment was inspected cleaned and tested to ensure safe and reliable operation. Invoices on larger upgrades and items such as rigging or the engine rebuild are available. Manuals and other detailed information is also available. As a reasonable buyer might expect, she will need work to make her your own and to finish cosmetic improvements, but for a 47 year old sailboat she is ready to sail to destinations near or far!
