Additional Equipment

This is a true turn key package cruising sailboat ready to leave today for anywhere without any upgrades, shopping/importing spare parts, installing/repairing items, shopping for dishes, etc. Take over this amazing boat with a premium slip in downtown Puerto Vallarta in Marina Vallarta to continue the Mexico cruising lifestyle, or take off anywhere today. Marinas in Mexico are now full and have waitlists, so this already being in a slip is highly desirable.

Also enjoy the tax benefits of buying a boat offshore. Closing will be handled by a US based marine escrow company.

This boats previous 2 owners are very experienced sailors who rigged it well for offshore cruising in real life, and it has been dialed in under real world conditions and is a joy to live on and cruise. There was no penny pinching when this boat was outfitted and upgraded over the years and it shows. It has sailed comfortably from the Pacific Northwest through Mexico for several seasons, the South Pacific, and now back cruising Mexico again. The systems are done well, work well together, and there is no real fantasy list of upgrades.

There is so much equipment and upgrades that some will be missed on this list, but here are the highlights:

Engine: Volvo Penta 55, about 3,000 hours. Perfectly maintained. Lots of little upgrades like temperature controlled air circ fans and thermometers to manage engine room temp in hot climates, impeller speed change nuts, Balmar 150 alternator, spare alternator, new exhaust hose 2023, flex coupler with spare, Racor fuel filter with vacuum gauge, New 2024 AGM battery with dc to dc charger, Max Prop folding propellor with original folding prop spare, line cutter. All necessary items for maintenance including oil change pump, all appropriate spare filters for several years, fresh water flush adapter and much more. Heat exchanger to hydronic heater system to heat domestic water from engine. Extensive tools for repair and maintenance.

Electrical: 2023 upgrade to lithium 400ah system. Works amazing and is fine tuned with large 600w solar array/Morningstar TS MPPT-45 charge controller, Pro-Nautical 1240-P, Xantrex echo charger (DC to DC), and Xantrex XAR engine regulator. Days and days of power with no issues. Lots of little upgrades like galvanic isolator, nicely installed fuses, battery switches, etc for a very functional, worry free, and clean system.

Watermaker: Spectra Ventura 150 DX. Beautifully installed and works great while sipping power and keeping the 153 gallons of water topped off with no issues. Comes with a year or so of all the filters and maintenance items already aboard.

Hydronic heating: Webasto 90ST hydronic heating system with 3 zones/thermostats and engine heat exchanger and hot water tank feed also. Very nice installation.

Electronics/comms: Raymarine ST60 system with ST6001 autopilot system. All works perfect and upgraded autopilot LCD 2023. Includes a wifi repeater system. Simrad NSS8 chartpotter/broadband radar works great. AIT2000 AIS transponder/receiver with Lifegauard man overboard alarm. Icom M802 SSB with pactor modem that works great. Starlink antenna installed on arch makes staying in touch easy. VHF - Standard Horizon GX2150 with AIS and remote mic. Handheld VHF also.  Garmin In Reach satellite tracker.

Safety: Winslow Super-Lite Offshore Plus life raft with included PLB/EPIRB back up. ACR Globalfix Pro EPIRB with new batteries. 3rd ACR PLB as additional backup. Tools for offshore safety like bolt cutters and saws for rigging. Lots of damage control items like several flex seal tape and glues, 2 quarts of Splash Guard, a good assortment emergency thru hull seals and plugs. Fire extinguishers throughout. Very nicely rigged jack lines, Man overboard retrieval collars and hoists.

Refrigeration: Upgraded top of the line Frigoboat keel cooled/air cooled systems for both refer and freezer, upgraded insulation and counter tops in galley. Beautiful install and runs perfectly while sipping power. No problems at all.
