The Passport 41 Te Arawa (V-berth configuration) was built as an update to the iconic Passport 40 with a taller rig, providing an expanded sail plan, as well as a molded swim platform on the transom.
Te Arawa spent most of her life in fresh water. In 2016 the last owner before me started preparing her for offshore cruising (Hydrovane, watermaker) but when covid hit he was forced to leave her in Guatemala. In 2021 I purchased her and moved aboard straight away. My plan was to live aboard and cruise full time for several years and I performed several upgrades with that intent. Unfortunately I realized solo cruising is not really for me so I've sell her and move back to land.
As I've performed all the upgrades myself (with minimal help), I know every little detail of the boat and can assure she's ready for offshore cruising, with plenty of spares.
