Derecktor Shipyard built, Scott Kaufman designed aluminum hulled world cruising passagemaker.
Extensively refitted, commissioned AND sprayed urethane insulated (makes great living aboard) in 2000 and 2010. All marine wiring, electronics, batteries, engine, sails, rigging new. Sailed from Montreal around north Atlantic to Caribbean from 2011 til 2014.
Sailboat was moderately damaged in Hurricane Irma, she lost her rear arch, wind generator pole and some hull damage. Boat floats and can power. We have images to correctly represent the damage and attention needed. Hence the very attractive price. Given her aluminum hull damages can be easily addressed, was non structural and will require epoxy gflex, filling fairing and recoating at sites on the hull where the dragging vessel struck her.

September 05,2024 at 01:11 AMShe's a rare strongly built aluminum vessel. Built at the well reputed Derektor Shipayrd LLC from Scott Kaufman naval architect plans. She's a racer converted cruiser in 2000 and refitted 2010, rod rigged with hydraulic boom-vang and backstay. A gem of an offshore sailig vessel.
